ECU Student Allison Maurer Named Winner of Brad Henry International Scholarship

Ada, OK (05/03/2024) — East Central University student Allison Maurer has been named the winner of the Brad Henry International Scholarship.

Maurer, a resident of Goldsby, Oklahoma and graduate of Washington High School, will spend the 2019 spring semester studying at Swansea University in Wales, United Kingdom.

"I'm super-excited to have this opportunity to travel and to experience culture and a different style of learning," said Maurer. "I hope to grow academically and personally through this experience of leaving home."

Maurer was recently selected to be a part of ECU's Business Scholars program at ECU. Students who enter this program must have at least a 3.50 grade-point average and must maintain a 3.25 GPA while in the program. They are also a part of the Business Leaders Association on campus.
