ECU Student Awarded INBRE Summer Research Internship
Kay Woodring, a biology major at ECU, has been awarded an INBRE summer research internship. This award is part of a federally funded program through the National Institutes of Health and is highly selective. Students from all over the state apply for the internship opportunities and only the top students are selected. She will be working with her research mentor, Dr. Ken Andrews, a professor also at East Central University. ECU and the College of Health and Sciences congratulate Ms. Woodring.
